UNL Studio How-to: Calculate distance-based isoline routingDescription: A distance-based isoline, also called an Isodistance, can be displayed by specifying distance in meters.
#
1. Learn how to calculate an isodistance route#
2. Click on Advanced Routing#
3. Click on the Isoline tab#
4. Click on Pick a place on the map#
5. Click on a desired point on the map#
6. Specify the distance within the Distance field#
7. Select the desired Route modeFast: In this mode, the isoline calculation simulates route calculation from start to destination minimizing travel time.
Short: In this mode the isoline calculation simulates route calculation from start to destination minimizing route distance, disregarding any speed information.
#
8. Click on Transport Mode#
9. Click on Show Area#
10. Example: Calculating isoline in Short modeThe request below calculates a 2.5 km isoline in the Short mode. The response answers the question:
What area can I reach by driving 2.5 km or less, while trying to take the shortest possible route?

11. Example: Calculating isoline in Fast modeThe request below calculates a 2.5 km isoline in the Fast mode. The response answers the question:
What area can I reach by driving 2.5 km or less, while trying to take the shortest possible route?
