UNL Studio How-to: Generate time-based Isoline routing#

Description: A time-based isoline, also called an isochrone, can be requested by specifying Arrival and Departure times

1. Learn how to calculate an isochrone#

2. Go to UNL Studio#

3. Click on Advanced Routing#

4. Select the Isoline tab#

5. Click the field indicating Pick a place on the map#

7. Specify a time in the Depature field#

By specifying the departure and arrival times, areas that can be reached within the time period will be highlighted.

To start, key in your desired time in the Departure field.

8. Specify a time in the Arrival field#

9. Click on your desired Transport Mode#

10. Click Show Area to generate the isoline route#

11. The area highlighted indicates what can be covered within the time period specified#
